It has been a little bit more than a week of summer. I went into summer wanting to have the best possible time possible however, I did not think it would so easily happen. I have had the most perfect start to summer anyone could ask for. I cannot see it going anywhere but up from here. This summer has already been filled with so many new beginnings and friendships. I am overwelhmed with how well my life is turning out right now. With everything that is happening at the moment, it will make it harder for me to leave at the end of August but at least I will have left with the best time I could have ever imagined.
Seventeen to Eighteen.
This 365 day journey was the best I have had. I learned more about life in that year than I did in my first 17 years of life. I had many “firsts” this year. I learned about family, love, friends, and life. I grew as a person much more than I could have asked for. And now, as I just turned 18, I am ready to see what the rest of life brings me.
